Dennis Roth

The French artist Denis Roth felt particularly committed to the millennia-old tradition of sculpture. In his works he illustrated that there is not always something new in art, but always something different. He drew from a seemingly never-ending repertoire of ideas. Different variations on a theme often emerged, even if the artist was always careful not to expand the subject too much. Despite the limited spontaneity, the artist’s works are playful, humorous and, in some cases, critical of the times.
