Through cuts, curves and folds, his sculptures playfully deal with mathematical forms. In his ceramic sculptures, the artist deals with the abstract and the constructive. From the formlessness of the starting material clay, he creates elementary bodies such as gates, towers, spatial signs and labyrinths, which often intertwine dynamically in space. In this way he deals with general principles such as statics and movement. Since 1988 the artist has been represented in numerous solo exhibitions as well as in various exhibitions in Germany and abroad.
