With his art, Joachim Kaiser repeatedly pushes the limits of human perception. By means of optical illusion effects, he succeeds in actively including the viewer in the art happenings. It is the effect of color in its contexts and dependencies that the artist addresses in his works. The geometric shape always plays a subordinate role. With it he refers to the colors and their alternating designations. Most of the time, Joachim Kaiser places closed, precisely delimited areas next to each other, the dimensions and orientation of which are based on strict calculations. With the color gradients he succeeds in creating depth and the impression of movement within the constructive surfaces.<\/p>\n
