Only after the end of his career did he turn completely to art. He finds his focus in sculpture. His works are based on an interest in stone as a material. Shell limestone, marble and alabaster are just a few of the materials he works with. Leftovers from the sculptor&#8217;s workshop are often used for his wall objects. This gives the works an idiosyncratic relief character which encourages them to touch them.
