She is one of the few artists of the era who was able to make a name for herself at the time.<\/p>\n<p>born <strong>1898<\/strong> in Warsaw<br \/>died <strong>1980<\/strong> in Cuernavaca\/ Mexico<br \/><strong>1916<\/strong> marriage to the lawyer Tadeusz Lempicki<br \/><strong>In 1918<\/strong> she fled to Paris because of the October Revolution, where she now attended the Acad\u00e9mie de la Grande Chaumi\u00e8re, took painting lessons with Maurice Denis and later with Andr\u00e9 Lhote, who had the greatest influence on her.<br \/>In <strong>1925<\/strong> the first solo exhibition took place in Milan. Her paintings, which capture the mood of \u201cArt Deco\u201d, are also becoming increasingly well-known in Paris.<br \/>Around <strong>1935<\/strong> she is at the peak of her success. She devotes herself primarily to painting portraits and nudes.<br \/><strong>In 1939<\/strong> she emigrated to Beverly Hills in the USA with her new husband, Baron Kuffner. In Hollywood, Tamara de Lempicka soon became the most popular painter, but her art lost its power of persuasion.<br \/>From <strong>1943<\/strong> the couple lived in New York.<br \/>After the Second World War, the artist returned to Paris several times for short periods. Around this time, Tamara de Lempicka begins to paint abstract pictures, with which she is no longer successful.<br \/><strong>In 1962<\/strong> , after the death of her husband, she moved to Houston, Texas.<br \/><strong>In 1978<\/strong> the artist moved to Mexico<br \/>Here Tamara de Lempicka died on March 18, <strong>1980<\/strong> in Cuernavaca.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.delempicka.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Tamara de Lempicke<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Polish painter Tamara de Lempicka can be assigned to the Art D\u00e9co.
