Yvaral is the son of Viktor Vasarely and was one of the co-founders of the Groupe de Recherche d&#8217;Art Visuel (GRAV) in 1960. In 1975, the artist coined the term &#8220;numerical art&#8221; to show that his art was developed or programmed according to numerical rules or algorithms. From that point on he used the computer to digitally process and manipulate images.
