Yvaral est le fils de Viktor Vasarely et a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&rsquo;un des co-fondateurs du Groupe de Recherche d&rsquo;Art Visuel (GRAV) en 1960. En 1975, l&rsquo;artiste invente le terme \u00ab\u00a0art num\u00e9rique\u00a0\u00bb pour montrer que son art a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9 ou programm\u00e9 selon des r\u00e8gles ou des algorithmes num\u00e9riques. \u00c0 partir de ce moment, il a utilis\u00e9 l&rsquo;ordinateur pour traiter et manipuler num\u00e9riquement les images.
