Dora Mauer
In addition to fine arts, the Hungarian artist Dóra Maurer is also active as a filmmaker, exhibition organizer and representative of the Hungarian neo-avant-garde. Her art is characterized by the use of multiple media and materials such as printmaking, painting, photography and experimental film. Central terms with which her art can be described are movement, change, documentation or trace. She tries to grasp the connections between space and time, systematization as well as rules and deviations.
