Knut Navrot’s paintings offer the viewer more than a purely geometric abstraction. Starting in 1990, Navrot developed his own pictorial system, which he consistently implements in his work. His works are reduced to the primary colors, black and white. The compositions are random and do not claim to convey any particular aesthetic value. Navrot manages to give his works a character that conveys the feeling of infinity, since the images have no beginning and no end in that sense.
