Werner Bauer is a German light and kinetics artist. Since 1968 he has been creating works in the concrete field, first with white, then colored serial wooden parts. At this time he was particularly interested in light, movement and material structures. Since then, the artist has been concerned with the interplay of form and light in concrete objects, mostly made of wood, later also with materials such as Plexiglas, acrylic paints, silicone or light foils.
